Whale Out!

 By ; MR MIH

From the above topic, you might be curious, what does phrase whale out mean?  You’ve heard of the word “whale” before, right?  Whales are referred to as sea mammals. This fact summarizes a few things you need to know about whales –

“The Blue Whale is the largest known mammal that has ever lived, and the largest living animal, at up to 110 feet long and 150 tons”.

Aside the fact that the word “Whale” has been linked mainly to the sea mammal, it has other meanings. The word “Whale” also mean – Something, or someone, that is excellent. The keyword here is “excellent”.  Excellence is the word here NOT perfection.

By the way, what is excellence?

Perhaps, you have come across the quote – “Excellence is NOT an act but an habit”.
In my opinion, that quote gives any hungry mind the best definition of excellence!

Just so you know, Excellence is what  I intend to pinpoint for you today.  How can we attain excellence? We need to do nothing but  “whale” out!
You get the simple principle?  You need to chase excellence NOT perfection.  Perfection means zero error. You DON’T want zero error. You want to make more than enough error or mistakes to grasp excellence.  Perfection is crap. Excellence is the game you need to chase. Like an emergency call, you need to WHALE out! You want to go BIG  and  SWIFT.

By the way, the whale (Animal) , is BIG and SWIFT especially when it attacks its prey. Hey! No crime in starting small, but your focus in regards to your craft or game MUST be to EXPAND your game – Go BIG and SWIFT. Staying small is boring, can you deny? Going big and swift is key. Don’t get perplexed, the message here is simple – WHALE OUT!

Go big and swift. Still playing small? Do make sure you go swift, and in the long run, always keep your focus on the BIG picture! Excellence means being the best at what you do. You might not be the best to the rest of the world, but you need to be the best to the man that appears in the mirror. Truth be told,

“excellence requires being the best to the man in the mirror and to the rest of the world! ”

Does that mean you need to compete? Not at all. You want to be excellent at your game? Learn from others BUT focus on your game. Focus on your goals, focus on the mission. What’s your mission? You want to excel? I mean, do you really want to go far in life and in your business? These are quick tips for you to WHALE OUT today….

  • Always be in the “Next move” mode regardless of whatever you’ve achieved. Always ask yourself this question whenever you’ve achieved a goal – “What next?“.
  •  Learn to surge forward with TOTAL  focus on your mission.
  • Work NOT talk.
  • Make giant moves (Regardless of your status)
