Let me ask you a simple question – “Have you ever been frustrated?“. What causes frustrations? If you claim to have never felt frustration, you’re a frustrated lier. Frustration evolves as a result of of dissapointment or not getting what you want. I get frustrated when I push hard and not get the results I want. So, how do I handle this frustrations? How can you turn your frustrations into exhilarations? It’s impossible not to get frustrated when you’re doing something worthwhile except you want to tell a lie. The surefire way to handle your frustrations is to pause.

When things don’t seem to be going right , you need to stay put and look at things from another angle – Seek clarity! Frustrations leads to anger and if not properly handled or transformed into something positive, can destroy beautiful things. Most of the time when I feel frustrated, I don’t want to talk to anyone, I want to have an alone time cause I know I’ve “screwed”. One of the most important things you must learn to do is embrace your frustrations. Don’t dare to resist or deny them, remember; what you resist persists. Figure out what’s getting you upset , before you try to figure out how to escape this mood. In my opinion, this mood is a blessing. I channel my frustrations into seeking solutions from the inside. Don’t get confused, frustrations can be used as a weapon to get what you want. If you think twice, you’ll realize that frustrations are signals that you aren’t doing something right or you aren’t pushing hard enough or you’re missing something vital. What to do? Once again , Pause! Reflect and think , change strategy, seek solutions, calm your inner heat and get back to the field.

  • Pause – Figure out what might be wrong in the equation.
  • Seek solution only – No room for complaints.
  • Calm yourself – Don’t take your next step with the heat inside you. Take charge of your emotions.
  • Dive into the game : Get back into the pitch transformed with a new weapon , strategy or gameplan in your arsenal.

This four simple tips will turn your frustrations into excitement – I guarantee. A word of warning ; Don’t use too much time in this process. If you waste too much time on this , it simply means you wasted too much time being frustrated – Of course, which is bad for your mental health.

Embrace the hassles and squash them. Always put yourself in a position of control! It’s never easy to control those frustrating moments, but it’s also not easy to live with your frustrations either. Either ways, it’s a struggle. I would rather choose to struggle with erasing my frustrations than struggle with being controlled by my frustrations. Assume control for everything. Turn your frustrations into excitement. Don’t resent your frustrations , cherish your frustrations and turn them into exhilarations. Frustrations are a wake up call. Learn to use them to pick yourself up . Move above your frustrations and most importantly, transform your frustrations into innovations.
