4 Simple Tips To Come Alive Again.

By : MR MIH

When you’re into art , sometimes , you lose the drive , the momentum and the urge to create things. Obviously, when you no longer feel excited about your craft or the urge to create things , its so difficult to create something of value. Thus , the key is to be in good shape mentally , physically , spiritually , and emotionally. Once you have a defect in any of these areas , it affects the quality of your craft. It can be extremely frustrating as an artiste, writer , or an innovator not to find the right “click” of ideas. In my opinion , these “dry” seasons are completely normal. Don’t fight it, instead embrace and use these feelings. Thus, I have 4 simple tips that’s literally going to get you pumped like never before and make quality ideas flow to you like never before. Are you ready?

Let’s roll :

  • Make A Decision To Come Alive : Look , everything begins with a decision. If you are reading this , that’s because you made a decision to do so. Nobody forced you to read this , right? Thus, this is the first step I take in my life to escape the “dry” seasons. I’m obsessed with the idea of creating valuable contents , and thus I cannot afford the “blank” moments. Have you made a decision to really come alive? If Yes , read on. If No, I can’t help you.
  • Take A “Short” Break : Each time I can’t seem to find my creative flow , what I do is take a break and try something else. Creativity isn’t something to be forced. Got it? Sometimes , when I feel empty (when I can’t seem to get my drive) , I watch a movie (usually comedy) or go play football or take a walk or just listen to the blues (music). Don’t force it or get frustrated , take a break and check back later. Let your mind incubate on your ideas. Write this down somewhere – “Creativity loves flexibility”. Free your mind and breathe. Eliminate the frustrations , embrace flexibilty!

  • Claim The Art : This is a psychological thing. A common mistake artistes make is that they wait for inspiration – Biggest mistake. While some artistes don’t wait for the “inspiration”, they take drugs or drink alcohol to find their drive – Cumbersome error. The best way to find the “flow” isn’t to wait or use drugs , the best way to find your “drive” is to become the art! As a human , you can become whatever you want as long as you’re willing to study and dedicate your mind to what you want. You’re being called a “human-being” for a reason. Remember ; “being“. BECOME IT! I don’t create articles seeking inspiration. I am the inspiration! You feel me? I’m not inspiring you here. I’m simply telling that you need to claim the art! For example , If I was a doctor , I wouldn’t tell myself that I’m a doctor, I would tell myself that I am the cure and I’ll be willing to prove that to myself every single day! This is a mindset. It has nothing to do with being egocentric. I don’t assume to be a writer or a blogger (in my mind) , I see myself as the idea, I see myself as the light! See yourself as the light. Become the art!

  • Beat On Your Craft : This as simple as saying ; “Take More Action”. If you don’t take enough action , how on earth will you find your momentum? Will Smith once said – “I don’t see myself as particularly talented. Where I excel is ridiculous sickening work effort“. Work is good. Do more and you open yourself up to posibilities! You won’t come alive by staying idle. You’ll suffer from depression by staying idle or not doing enough. Why not immerse yourself in your craft?

Hope this helped?
