If you have any conscious or subconscious thoughts that motivation is a scam or a bad thing – This is not for you.
I’m writing this short article to inspire people who want to do more NOT people who are “comfortable”.
If you’re struggling, it’s OK. It’s OK to struggle, it’s not OK to quit.
My whole life, I’ve been struggling.
Struggling to do well in the classroom. Struggling to build my brand. Trying to figure out my relationship life.
Struggling to find the best version of me. Struggling to keep up financially. Struggling to expand on my craft.
Struggling to be a good example to the society. Struggling to make things happen (Even though that’s what I’m great at).
Struggling to impress myself (I quit trying to impress others) .
Look, The first thing you need to do to escape from your struggles is to admit you are struggling.
The next step is to confront your struggles.
The next step is to keep your focus on the solution to your struggles.
Last step? Don’t quit UNTIL you convert your struggles into victory.
I want you to know that I’m not writing this to make you feel good.
As a matter of fact, I don’t feel sorry for you if you’re struggling.
Pay attention to the value I’m about to reveal.
4 Simple Steps To Overcoming Your Struggles.
- Admit You’re Struggling – Most individuals want to avoid their struggles. That’s why they resort to drugs, alcohols, unnecessary anger – Bad idea. Don’t lie to yourself. When you admit you’re struggling, only then can you ;
- Confront The Challenge Or Struggle – This is the junction where you need to man up. This is where you need to look the beast in the eye. This is where you need to attack your pains instead of shying away from them. This is the point where you need to kick your fears to the curb. By the way, you can’t confront your struggles if you’re still under the spell of your “comfort zone”.
- Focus On Solutions – Remember ; What you focus on, expands! You need to be a forward driven individual here. This is the junction where you need to quit whining or complaining. This is the junction where you need to quit trying to make people feel sorry for you. This is the point where you need to ask yourself some tough questions. Questions like ; “What do I need to do to get out of this?”…. “Who do I need to meet?”…. “Who do I need to ELIMINATE from my circle?”…. “What do I need to add or subtract from my arsenal”?…. “What could possibly be holding me back?”….. “How can I EXPAND?”…. And so on. You get the point here, right? Seek genuine answers. Don’t pay too much attention to the pain. Pay attention to the answers or solutions.
- Do NOT Quit Till You Get The Answers – Some answers won’t come easy folks. Quit looking for shortcuts. Shortcuts are often temporary solutions to your struggles or challenges. Find REAL answers to your pain or struggles. Commit to finding the REAL answers. As soon as you fully commit (When you’re all in) , real answers will start popping out.
Remember ; “It’s OK to struggle, it’s NOT OK to quit” – Mr Mih
