January is gradually rolling away. Have you started making real moves? Or you’re still making those baby moves?
If you aren’t doing anything scary or aiming to do something scary, you’re in prison – Mentally. You just don’t know it yet.
Remember the quote – “Aim for the moon, if you miss, you’ll land among the stars” – Les Brown.
That’s one of my favorite quotes, plus it is reality.
Sometimes we miss our targets or fall short on our goals.
What happens when you fall short of your baby goals or targets? You hit depression.
What happens when you fall short of big monster scary targets? You become an entirely different individual with SOLID experience.
With REAL experience, you never want to go back to the “baby” games. A quick analogy here ;
I once watched a documentary about Lions. A Lion appeared to be hungry and it ran after its prey.
The Lion grasp the prey at a near distance. Suddenly, the prey pretended as if it was dead.
Immediately, the Lion lost interest in the prey and went hunting for a fresh new prey.
From that documentary, I deduced that even the Lion isn’t looking for the “easy” catch or rotten food.
The Lion is looking for excitement. It is looking for adventure. The Lion is looking for something “worthy”.
Examples of baby games ;
Acting out of spite, hating on winners, doubting possibilities, pompous vibes, trying to impress, competing instead of collaborating.
You want more? I’ll give you more ;
Being afraid to invest in yourself, being afraid to love, gossip, whining, getting comfortable and thinking too little …. Too many to count.
The above negative lists won’t help you achieve anything worthwhile.
You need to tweak something upstairs. Once your upstairs is damaged, everything is. Fix it.
Have you noticed? Success has nothing to do with how good you look, how talented you think you are or how “smart” you think you are.
Success doesn’t even care about your muscles. Success obviously doesn’t care if you are the “good” guy or girl. It doesn’t care about your skin color.
Success cares about one thing – Risk. The people who live on the edge. The people who are looking to make new friends.
The risk takers inevitably grab the biggest piece out of the cake while the rest fight for the leftovers. What do you expect?
People who are willing to get uncomfortable with making “baby” moves obviously end up winning.
You need to take a leap – A huge leap. Either ways, you’re going to fall short.
If at all you’re going to fall short on something, why not fall short on something that’s remarkably “worth” it?
Your think HAS to change. 2020 is gradually switching away.
You better hit at the BIG juicy fruits hanging up there instead of settling for the rotten ones at your feet.
