Being in your mid 20’s can be really challenging ESPECIALLY when you are yet to figure out what to do with your life.
Even when you do know what to do, the challenges you begin to face as an adult can make you want to cower.
Perhaps, this is what most youths do – They cower. Don’t be most people. Be you. Be unique.
Regardless of how serious or intense you are about your dreams, you are bound to have some free time.
Having a chunk of free moments can be an asset and can also be a liability. Depends on how you spend your free time.
As a young individual, your free time would most likely be spent uselessly.
You feel the uncontrollable the urge to party. Chase hot girls, get distracted, “enjoy” life and get a little bit naughty.
In this “free” moments is where dreams are either built or destroyed.
I’m NOT writing this article to teach anyone how to live their life.
I’m writing this article to teach you how to switch your free time into an asset.
To use your free time wisely and most importantly, convert it into an asset, you need to see yourself like a warrior or a soldier going to war.
Warriors don’t use all of their free time to whine and dine.
They use it in a strategic way cos they know their enemy can pop out at anytime.
When an ideal warrior is free, he spends his time in the “recharge” or “recovery” mode.
He treats his wounds or injuries if he has any.
He rests. Sometimes, he grabs a quick nap or even sleeps. When he wakes, he grabs a quick meal.
Then, what next? He reads. He sharpens his sword, armors or reloads his guns.
He exercises a little bit and go into full mode or intense practice.
“The ideal warrior knows that if he doesn’t train when he’s free, he’s going to bleed badly on the battle field” – Mr Mih
Thus, regardless of where you’re at in life, you need to see yourself as a warrior. You need to skill up when you’re free.
You need to practice your craft, read, study, recharge, refill, sharpen your tools aggressively so your attack, presence or vibes on the battlefield can be felt.
This is the ways of a true Champ. They don’t blow their chances.
They see their leisure periods as the time to add spice to their craft.
Although, there’s time to work and there’s time to play.
As a matter of fact, there’s always time to play and have a good time.
No one is telling you not to have fun. No one is telling you not to live your life.
The truth is this ;
If you’re going for greatness, you’re going to have to make some little sacrifices. Depends on what you want.
Remember ; You can’t afford to get distracted. You either practice and drill when you are free or freaking bleed out on the battlefield – Mr Mih
Do you need a constant reminder to practice when you are free?
Have a great weekend!
