Almost every country in the world is on lock down right this second due to the COVID-19 crisis.
This crisis would inevitably lead to economic melt down. A recession. Probably, we’re in it already!
With no intention to get negative, businesses are going to crumble and it’s going to be ugly for a lot of people.
This is also going to be a wake up call to many of us. On a personal note, this has been a wake up call to me and that’s what this article is about.
Hundreds of millions of people are quietly complaining behind closed doors because of hunger, lack of money or inactivity.
There’s also a select group of people who are indoors just like everybody else, yet, they still experience new income every single day.
What’s the catch here? This is it ; Whatever business or idea you want to venture into, make sure that it’s SUPER ACTIVE online just as it is offline .
Both spaces (Online and offline world) are frightfully vital but right now, as it stands, the online world is gradually taking over.
This is my message to you today folks. The world is evolving right before our eyes.
When this COVID-19 situation is over, most people/businesses would only be interested in bouncing back and that is the ideal thing to do.
Pause! There’s something else you should be preparing for.
What if something similar like this rolls over in the next 5 years?
Are you going to fall into the same trap or become stronger?
I wrote this article to get your mind prepared for the inevitable/unexpected challenges that confront businesses?
You need to start thinking about making your means of livelihood available and strong both offline and online.
I don’t know how but you have to figure that out as quickly as you can.
Two vital lessons from this article :
1. Going BIG Should Be Your New Play :
The BIG companies have low tendency of crashing out of the marketplace compared to small businesses right now.
If you’re running a small business, you should aggressively place your focus on scaling out when this is over.
This could be a wake up call for you to consider going BIG.
2. Your Online Presence Should Be Solid Just As Your Offline Gig :
Your business/idea has to play out now in a way that it doesn’t RELY solely on online transactions to survive.
What if something ugly happens to your online platforms? Will you or your business survive?
Offline? You should be gallant offline too. What if there’s no active offline transactions just like it is happening now? Will your business survive?
Consider this two options and put yourself in the right gear.
This is not the time to whine or complain.
It’s time to get your head straight, get better at your craft, and put a plan in place to strengthen your business offline/online!
