Let’s start off with this ;
The purpose of this article is to show you how to take responsibility for your happiness in order to live a more fulfilling and carefree life.
One of the greatest tragedies of life is that some people win for certain periods of time and end up being depressed or worn out.
Why is that?
Are you ready? Proceed!
Step 1 : Have A Target
Yes, and your goal or target shouldn’t be about just being happy.
It’s about having something to really dig into and it must be something measurable.
Everyone wants to feel good but sometimes, feeling good ain’t the solution. You have to feel great.
It’s not just about the feeling tho. It’s about results. You don’t have to fake happiness.
Those who fake happiness for too long will end up in depression. Thus, don’t go down that path.
Real happiness comes from getting results.
It doesn’t come from sitting on your couch and chewing repetitive words or affirmations.
The best, easiest and fastest way to feel great is to accomplish a goal or target.
Once again, it must be something measurable.
What’s your goal, target, or mission?
Step 2 : Take Care Of You
Oh yeah! If you can’t take care of yourself, how can you take care of someone else?
Pause. This simply goes back to step one – When you achieve your goals or targets, you must reward yourself.
By the way, during the course of pursuing your goal or target, you must know that at the end of the funnel, there’s a very juicy reward waiting for you.
This keeps you excited and driven everyday. During the course of having a worthy mission, it’s almost impossible to feel sad or depressed.
Why? Because you are in the attack mode.
Thus, when you are in the attack mode, it means you are going after something not the other way round.
Once you hit your target or complete your mission, you are going to be tempted to raise the bars and go for more – It’s human nature.
Candid Suggestion – Take care of yourself mentally with this eBook. It is going to show you exactly how to hit your targets.
Actually, that’s the ideal thing to do but first, you should reward yourself (As you promised yourself in the beginning).
As soon as you reward yourself, you should set another target and repeat the process.
Step 3 : Reach Out For Supportive People
“You don’t need the best people, you need the right people” – Jack Ma
Sometimes, the best people in the field don’t want you to get to their level. They are insecure adults.
I don’t know if you can relate with this or not but you must carefully reach out for people you want in your life or people that you think can give you a lift.
If they are not supportive, you should leave the table immediately. Note ; you should leave the table without making any trouble.
You don’t need to be negative about it – Just leave.
Never underestimate the importance of supportive people in your life and the part that they play in your life.
By the way, you attract into your life the kind of person that you are.
If you’re on the lookout for supportive people, you too should be as supportive as possible to those around you.
Reaching out for supportive people could be within your family members, but most times, it’s outside your power base – Strangers.
If I were you, I would combine both ; Supportive family members/friends AND strangers.
If you already have a group of supportive people in your life, congratulations. Don’t be selfish.
Share this article so they too can see it and benefit from it.
Step 4 : Have An Incubation Period Everyday.
It’s a noisy world. Different hashtags are trending everyday. There’s chaos.
There’s bad news. There’s injustice. There’s negativity. Moral decadence is trending and is being glorified.
If you try to pay attention to all of the above, you’re dead. Yes, you’re just a zombie walking around – Living dead!
Once or twice every 24 hours, you should have a time (10-15 mins) set aside to reflect on your life – Without any distractions.
In those quiet, lonely moments is when genius ideas are born and solutions are provided from the universe.
This isn’t about Yoga, this is about being selfishly concerned about your mental health.
You have to set aside some time to yourself to keep your creative juice flowing.
Step 5 : Avoid Spreading Out.
New buzzes are flying around every day. New ideas and different concepts keep surfacing every single day and you don’t have to chase every trend.
Robert Kiyosaki is known for his famous but highly valuable acronym that teaches us a core principle about success ;
F – Follow
O – One
C – Course
U – Until
S – Successful
Master your field or industry so well that you can’t be ignored. Remember the old saying ;
“A rolling stone gathers no moss”.
