Hi, today I want to talk to you about finding your pace. Have you ever felt invincible for a second and then somehow lost it?
It happens to everyone including the top athletes. They lose form for a while and somehow suddenly start getting noticed cos they are “on fire”.
Sometimes, you feel you’re getting it, sometimes you lose the drill. I’ve struggled with this a lot in my life.
One day I’m fired up, the next day, I’m as down as a flat tire. You seldom create anything spectacular when you feel down.
Over the last 365 days, I’ve figured out a way to always get myself out of that mental trap. It’s more mental than it’s physical.
As long as I am fascinated with an idea, I go in deep and make sure I come out of the deal with a win.
You can’t win at your craft or industry WITHOUT any form of momentum.
Side Note : Momentum comes with excitement.
With so much negativity and distractions going around today, it’s so easy to lose your momentum.
For me, traveling distorts my momentum. I can’t think straight and I’m trying to gel properly with my new environment.
I’ve been moving around lately, mentally and physically. Trying really hard to figure out my next moves and my next adventure.
Simply because I love the momentum thing, I hate to lose it.
I need the momentum. It makes me feel alive, energetic and helps me win at my next moves or adventure almost effortlessly.
3 Tips To Find Your Momentum :
- Chase Excitement : Do things or go after things that keeps you on the edge or on your toes.
- Take Baby Bites : Break your adventure, process or journey into tiny little bites/steps.
- Attack The Baby Bites With A Sense Of Urgency : Time is money. Attack with speed. Since your steps are broken down now into baby steps, you have clarity. Clarity breeds speed.
