What does it take to reach the next level? Simple – Expansion.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an entrepreneur, business owner, employee or student, everyone desires to grow and get better.
Small businesses wants to expand and reach for glory. Small brands wants to blow up. Kids can’t wait to become an adult.
It is human nature to seek and experience growth. Unfortunately, not everyone experiences the growth that they truly desire.
I’m glad you’re still reading up to this point. So here’s the deal ;
Anyone can experience significant growth if they follow this four simple steps.
1. Be Clear On What You Want :
Everyone wants to get rich. Everyone wants money. In this case, you have to be super clear and detailed about EXACTLY how much you want, to get the life or the thing you want.
The devil is in the detail likewise, the treasures. Pay attention to the details of your dreams. Be super clear about it and then ;
2. Write It Down :
I used to think this was B.S until I realized how powerful it was. When you write your goals or targets down, it becomes real to you.
I write my goals down daily. Although recently, I’ve been a bit inconsistent with it but I’m getting back on track as soon as I publish this article.
Write your goals down. Write your next moves down.
I developed a simple methodology/acronym few years ago, and I find it to be very potent ever since ;
T – Think
O – On
P – Paper
Think on paper (T.OP.). Execute in the real world. Writing your goals down brings clarity.
The more clarity you have, the more certain you become. Take it or leave it, certainty is an irresistible weapon.
3. Worry Less About Perfection :
There’s a high chance of you NOT getting it right the first time – Which is OK. You just have to try. Worry is a mental load, let it go.
To move fast, you need less worry, less contemplation but more courage to press forward. Try out your ideas.
Make that phone call and be willing to suck at it. Failing is better than regret.
Perfection is real fallacy. Get your game going regardless of how “unready” you feel.
4. Focus More On Getting New Inflow :
Yes but you cannot get new inflow without your outflow to new sources or new arenas.
For instance, if you’re an entrepreneur, you want to satisfy your current customers but you have to focus more on finding new leads and constantly build up a new stream of potential customers.
The people that are interested in getting great physical shape don’t hold on to their previous stature, they need a new look on their muscles, right?
Thus, they hit the gym constantly to get in healthy shape.
Everyday, they go to the gym and pump in new muscles, they seldom rely on the fact that they were at the gym yesterday.
This is how you must treat your business and your brand. You need new muscles. Find new clients. Make new friends. Find new deals.
This is a sure fire way of experiencing growth. Find new businesses. Shake new hands. Get new ideas.
You cannot rely on the old ideas or old victories. Get yourself on board to a new adventure.
