This is a brief letter from me to you and I’m glad you opened it.
My mission with this letter is to let you know or remind you (If you already know), that 80% of success is mental.
20% of success is the mechanics.
I also wanted to let you know that it’s OK to be gentle on yourself and pat yourself on the back even when you know that you can do way more than you are currently doing.
I want you to know that it’s OK to compare yourself with your broken neighbors.
I also wanted to let you know that it’s very OK to live your life without a sense of urgency.
As a matter of fact, I felt the uncontrollable urge to let you know that you can spend your life without getting a skill.
Just in case you already believe that ; “Motivation is a scam”, I want you to keep at it.
Just in case you’re still in romance your past victories and not looking into the future for more accomplishment, keep at it.
Just in case you’re still comparing the quality of your life to that of your friends or based on what you see on social media, keep going.
Hey, just incase you measure your accomplishments against that of your competitors and not your own “potential”, that’s not a bad direction.
I believe you fall into one of the above categories – Which is very OK.
I just wanted to let you know that if you fall into any of the above categories, it’s going to be way difficult to meet the real YOU.
And on your death bed, I hope you’ll be satisfied with you have accomplished based on your true potential NOT based on comparison.
On your death bed, I hope you won’t have regrets about all the things you missed out on because of “comfort”.
On your deathbed, I hope you don’t regret NOT having a sense of urgency.
On your death bed, I hope you realize that you live your life based on your choices not based on what other people think.
Plus, I hope you gave your everything and not tiptoed your way through life.
I hope you really experience your deepest desires and not just conform to the waves of the world.
My friend, I hope you reflect on this very deeply.
As I write to you, I write with worry cos the clock is ticking. You’re yet to even tap into your true self.
You won’t find your true self if you live your life based on what your friends and neighbors are doing.
Use your mind.
Comparison dampens the mind. Elevate your mind. Elevate the quality of your life.
I really hope We meet one day.
I hope you meet the real you and realize what you are missing out on.
From me to you,
Your subconscious mind.
